Silvano Apartments

Silvano Tourist Apartments are located in two places in Asturias: Posada de Llanes in eastern Asturias and San Juan de la Arena in the central-eastern part of the region.

Silvano Tourist Apartments are terraced cottages, and each apartment has all the amenities needed to enjoy your holiday.

All apartments have two direct ground-floor entrances through private porches: one from the kitchen and another from the living room, with large sliding glass doors so you can dine and enjoy the outdoors if you wish.

San Juan de la Arena

Silvano Tourist Apartments in San Juan de la Arena are in a lovely fishing village at the mouth of the Nalón, the largest river in Asturias.

San Juan de la Arena is a peaceful town with a lovely marina, a wide choice of inviting restaurants, a health centre, pharmacy and banks. It has a charming setting of low-rise houses and a beautiful, spacious beach—Los Quebrantos—which has been awarded Blue Flag status. The beach also has well-maintained facilities and beach bars that make it especially enjoyable during the summer season.

Silvano Tourist Apartments in San Juan de la Arena are an ideal base for exploring western Asturias, including the coastal towns of Cudillero and Luarca, as well as Pravia, Cangas del Narcea, Tineo, Muniellos Forest—Europe’s largest oak forest—and Taramundi.

Central Asturias is also within easy reach, with its three main cities—Avilés, Gijón and Oviedo—just a half-hour drive from the apartments.

About an hour away is Asturias’s mining area, with mining museums where you can learn about the hard work and spectacular galleries of the region’s coal mines.

Silvano Apartments in San Juan de la Arena are fully equipped individual apartments in terraced cottages, with a swimming pool for enjoying the good weather.

Posada de Llanes

Silvano Tourist Apartments in Posada de Llanes are surrounded by nature, just a five-minute walk from Posada de Llanes, the largest town in the municipality of Llanes. They are only 4 km from the beaches of Niembro, Barro, Gulpiyuri and Poo, and lie at the foot of the Picos de Europa.

In Posada, all essential services are close at hand: a health centre, supermarkets, shops, a pharmacy, banks, cafés, cider houses and more.

It is an ideal base for exploring eastern Asturias, close to the coastal towns of Llanes, Ribadesella and Lastres, as well as Covadonga, Cangas de Onís and welcoming villages in the Picos de Europa such as Cabrales and Onís.

The Jurassic Museum of Asturias, between Colunga and Lastres, offers an unforgettable experience and an introduction to the “Dinosaur Coast” between Ribadesella and Gijón, with its nine dinosaur footprint sites.
